AT&T giving customers a huge $5 credit to compensate for the outage last Thursday.

AT&T said late Saturday it planned to give affected accounts credit for the outage.
"We apologize and recognize the frustration this outage has caused and know we let many of our customers down. To help make it right, we’re applying a credit to potentially impacted accounts to help reassure our customers of our commitment to reliably connect them – anytime and anywhere," AT&T said in a statement to USA TODAY.

A $90/mo phone bill is about $3/day. So a $5 credit more then covers a few hours without service.
What’s weird about that day my phone worked but wife’s didn’t(same account, same phone,)And only one other AT&T phone at my office worked rest did t.

That’s a slap in the face. I’m switching everything I have that affiliated with AT&T
That incudes 3 cell phones, 2 Apple Watches, 3 iPads, and internet. I pay that company $785 a month.
It’s gonna be a pain in the arse to switch to Verizon but I’m ready.

How? I have 3 phones and fiber internet with them and our bill is about $240/mo
