Here’s a video with an AM employee explaining how this SUV is different and more better than other SUV models:

An abomination, just like the Cayenne.

It's sad when sports car and luxury car brands feel like they have to make an SUV. Thanks Ferrari.

They've all got them now. I've seen Jaguar and Lamborghini SUV's recently.

The Bentley SUV is t anything to sneeze at either. It’s a great off road vehicle.

Do you park this diagonally in the grassless front yard or next the side of the trailer?

Unfortunately, SUVs keep the lights on. The Cayenne and Macan are a part of the reason Porsche is able to build cars like the 918 and 911 GT2 RS. Even Ferrari makes the GTC4 Lusso an AWD kinda sorta estate.
I honestly have no issue with the trend, I think it is cool to see bonkers SUVs like the 617 hp X5 M Competition.
While Porsche popularized the concept and showed it could be a cash cow the idea goes back over 30 years with the Lamborghini LM002.
I have no real issue with the trend especially when it gives us bonkers vehicles like the 617hp X5 M Competition.

Lambo had one decades ago (1986-93). I drove one in Palo Alto. It was someone in Steve Jobs's party at Spago. (I valeted there one summer.)

At least they didn't call it a Mustang

Everything is a station wagon. Just needs wood paneling.

That's a Sportage in the first picture

The Lambo Rambo. The Saudis used to mount .50 calibers on those to protect their oilrigs in the 80s.

SUVs are the market now as opposed to sedans. Ford's new SUV is probably using Mustang for name recognition.

The DBX looks like a catfish.
