has it been discussed that the shooter's lack of internet footprint and hate for Trump are connected?
I have seen it mentioned he was a big fan of net neutrality

There are probably going to be a handful of "noisy" false alarms this week
As is often the case post-mass shooting.

Rank and file Democrats/ left leaning people do not care about Tulsi or RFK.

The only two being discussed that would really make any inroads for the electorate IMO were Youngkin and DeSantis (and the latter wasn't often discussed as an option).
Assuming Trump survives his term, DeSantis is better placed as the Governor of Florida than he would be as VP. Rand Paul is also better where he is in the Senate than being VP, although I want Trump to make him Secretary of State and that’s the only position Rand should leave for (Rand isn’t a lawyer so he’s not eligible for AG).

What sucks
Is that we should not even need to have such security at any rally… but this country has fallen apart to that point….
Bad take.
Political figures have been targets of violence since the days of the Roman Empire. And we have had assassinations and attempted assassinations in this country over it's existence and we've moved forward.
You're being alarmist and you show a basic misunderstanding of history.

I’m pretty moderate to be honest. On a scale of 0-100, 0 being far left and 100 being far right, I’d say I’m a 55. My only problems with Tulsi and RFK are their economic viewpoints and that’s really it.
That said, I am a rabid anti-communist and find that ideology to be extremely despicable and evil.

They’re both anti-gun people who revert to authoritarianism at the first sign of resistance or ambiguity.

Tens of millions people changed their minds about guns in 2020 over the Summer of Love, these being two of them, so I’m not going to hold it against them.

Back around 2020 or so you’re position was that all gov employees who didn’t pledge loyalty to the republican party were to be immediately fired and in many cases jailed.

Jesus, Peej…
Politicians have been getting assassinated forever, this has nothing to do with where the country is right now.

Sorry, you don’t go through that far through life, especially as a member of congress and a senior officer in the military then suddenly have an epiphany…unless you’re trying to attract voters.
