I haven't been asked to see a receipt at Wal Mart in well over 10 years.

They don’t require a receipt to return.

I'm an alpha, so I walk towards the person with my receipt in my hand. Clearing showing I have nothing to hide.

I think maybe once in last 10 years they have asked to look at it. Othewise they wave me through.

This is my position as well. I agreed to terms with Costco, but Walmart can kiss my arse. If you are that concerned with theft, why don’t you hire more cashiers.

I know my local Walmart greeter by her first name. I always speak to her when I visit them. Mrs. Mary never asks to see my receipt when I leave...

I usually just keep walking while saying, “ No thank you”.

I never get asked

Sure. As mentioned, it's usually a older female and they just do a cursory glance at the receipt and what's in the cart.
Sam's is a different story. For some reason the Sam's in Elec has been scanning most if not all items in the cart where they used to scan one or two to verify I guess and "have a good day" out the door.
