I don't let it fly, but I see women flirt with men at work, but when the man she doesn't want flirting back flirts back, then it's harassment.

About 12 years ago, a guy in the quarter grabbed me there. I slapped him across his face and felt a little better. I was pissed and grossed out, but it never crossed my mind that it was sexual harassment. I'm not even sure I had heard of sexual harassment at that time, nor do I know what I could've even done about it. I'm not a SJW by any means, but that is pretty messed up the more I think about it.

Yeah, that's another situation. If someone makes an advancement towards someone and they make it clear they are not interested, if that person ignores that and continues to make advancements (harrasses) then that is a problem as well.

Whether that guy was drunk or just some perv, that's not acceptable behavior. I am sure someone will defend this, but I consider this an obvious "extreme" sexual harassment situation because it falls into not giving someone content, plus its just completely disrespectful.
If anyone was in a public setting and some random person just came up and grabbed them anywhere, it would likely make them feel uncomfortable so you throw in the fact that it was sexual thats even worse.

Right. And not that it matters, but it wasn't even someone I had been talking to or dancing with. I was literally just walking with friends through a crowded place. Pretty disgusting.

The world is a scary place. Sometimes stuff like that happens. People get robbed, killed, etc every day. Sucks, but it's definitely not the norm or seen as acceptable by anyone. It would not be considered harassment because it only happened once

The other side of the coin would have you believe we should believe 100% of sexual harassment claims by women because of the "emotional stress" brought on by making the claim.

As you grow older you realize: sexual harassment will not be tolerated, it will be graded and scores posted along with makeup appointments scheduled

I was definitely uncomfortable and had the immediate reflex reaction to slap him (which I'm so thankful I at least got that in), but it also did happen super quick and I kept walking with my friends afterwards. Saying that, I still remember it very vividly to this day. It doesn't like haunt me or anything, but I can easily recall what happened and I'm sure I had had a few to drink.

Very true. Like I said, I'm not scarred by it. I think getting the slap in his face helped that somewhat, and it did happen very quickly. I do very vividly remember it like it was yesterday when I think about it though.

Do we ignore it, no. We've actually watered it down so much that, like so many other things, it doesn't mean anything anymore. Quid pro quo or actually ongoing harassment should be unacceptable. But just because someone is offended by someone else's conversation doesn't mean they are victims of sexual harassment. It means they shouldn't be eavesdropping.

There is actually more to it than this even...for the legal definition...
What happened to the person on the street is assault and or battery....Attempted something or another...
