How dare someone run over a criminal, I demand an investigation. This city!

Showed up after the incident, same time as about 7 BRPD units.
I know the driver went straight to Walgreens to get some smokes immediately after fleeing the scene. Was talking about running someone over. Employee of Radiobar was in line behind him. Found that funny.

Was he trying to carjack them?

A perp getting shot should hopefully slow scumbag traffic.
Well he didn't get shot he got run over by a car which was probably pretty lucky on the victims part.
But point taken however that doesn't seem to stop anyone.

How is America supposed to stay a fricking empire if the whites are out here killing all these kangz?

I’m down there at Atomic Pop Shop after dark with my musician HS kids all the time . So many sketchy hood rats in that area.

There is a check cashing place on each side of the street. This is always a sign for "Parking here means you finna get robbed."

What’s the law here if the driver had been .08?

So they game him the wallet and he shot at them anyway? WTF?? Good riddance to that POS thug.

I have friends who live in the Garden District in fairly expensive homes and tell me all the time how they routinely hear shots fired and have to call the cops on hoodrats who are breaking into their cars and neighbors' homes. I just don't understand the appeal of living there and having to fight off the ghetto every day.
You can be victimized anywhere in Baton Rouge, even CCL or Bocage, but buying a house next to the worst area of the city just doesn't seem reasonable.

Elsie's is a nice place to eat too and this happened pretty early in the evening when families might be leaving the restaurant. Relativley speaking its not that bad of an area but its like you have to keep your head on a swivel just about everywhere in BR now.
Yeah I believe Elsie's is open until 10 and is always pretty crowded. I'd hoped this stuff would be curbed when they opened and they added a little more lighting to that parking lot. People have gotten robbed at gunpoint leaving Radio Bar multiple times in the past few years.

The shitbag shot at them even after the victim gave up his wallet. Same thing happened to me. I hope he died a painful death.
Thats why I always scoff at the, "just give them the money and leave well enough alone" advice. Im not giving them the chance to pop me in the back.

What pillar of the community did we lost last night?

Criminals get more ballsy when you have a mayor who practically encourages disrespect for law enforcement.
