Why? It’s not like he’ll spend time in prison

My first thought when I read there was a helicopter circling was that someone must have fought back and they are looking for him.

So he got away with like $25 and some soy sauce?

One of the last places on earth that I would ever rob

Does that mean he is a loser?

I think robbing a Chinese place already grants him that award.

Was this an excuse to fire up the helicopter?Seems like a waste of resources.

That restaurant was there at least as far back as the 70s. They would leave flyers all over campus. I'm surprised it's still open.

I ate at that Chinese Inn many times in the early/mid 80’s along with Pancho’s and Jim Dandy fried chicken.

They still did in the 2010s. They’re the “We Delivery LSU” place right?

Publicity stunt to make people believe that they’re going all out to cut crime. It’s like buying a commercial on tv.

Or, just maybe, the suspect fled on foot and the aerial view was used to multiply coverage area for suspicions persons on foot that fit the suspect/clothing description.

That Pancho's was the GOAT. Dark and dingy. They used amber glass ashtrays in the ceiling lighting fixtures. After a
satisfying Mexican meal I'd buy a cherry cigar from the glass case at the front register.

I was with someone once who stopped there to buy drugs behind the building. In hindsight, probably one of the less safe things I've done.
