I'd assume if our gov is willing to drone bomb random shitholes in the Middle East, they'd be willing to rip through these nerds with a .50 cal and everyone would scatter.

I had a talk with my gf about this kind of stuff last weekend.
She says if the government told us there were aliens out there, that people would be flipping out and it would case mass panic on earth.
but why?
I don't get why it would cause everybody to go crazy. It's improbable that we are the only people here. Think about the size of the universe. That's a joke, because you can't fathom the scale of it. Why would we be the only people here? I believe in God, but I also don't believe we are God's only creation.

I’m pretty sure this is just a joke and people signed up for fun. Y’all are taking this too seriously. And while I would like to know what’s in Area 51, have you ever thought maybe we are better off if we don’t know what’s there?

I mean, if you consider Area 51 and "UFO's", 2 possibilities come to mind.
1st: "just" a remote military base for testing top-secret new weapons and craft prototypes. >99.9% chance.
2nd: remote military base for testing top-secret ALIEN TECHNOLOGY. <0.1% chance.
100% chance the government does not want idiots anywhere near either option.
