I think most people are playing the very high odds that the racial slur didn't happen and that this is just another example of someone claiming racism as a weapon for some other grievance.

Public education in St. Helena Parish effectively died in 1988 when court ordered consolidation took effect. Since then, the state has had to step in several times to try to fix the situation there. It can't be fixed. Thanks, NAACP.

“We are very disappointed in the behavior of your staff,” Superintendent Kelli Joseph and School Board President Linda Chaney wrote. “Nothing can justify their disgusting, degrading remarks and our students didn’t deserve to experience such hate.”
Officials say the school district is expecting a public apology from Area 51 to the students and parents. The school board is also requesting a written apology that explains the business’s stance against racism, actions taken against employees and remedies to solve the matter.
“You cannot erase the awful experience our students and teacher endured,” Joseph said. “They will have to live with this for the rest of their lives.”

Area 51 Extreme Air Sports is located on The Grove Boulevard off Mall of Louisiana Boulevard. The facility offers several activities including trampoline jumps, obstacle courses, foam pits and dodge ball.
A message left for Area 51's general manager was not returned.
Why did they not provide the slurs that were used? Did they say to them "yall acting like a bunch of nwords"? I doubt that, they would have made sure to state that the "n" word was used.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Area 51 employees would have told the kids something like "stop acting like a bunch of animals" and someone took "animals" as them saying they were acting like a bunch of monkeys and claimed that is racist.
But I hope Area 51 doesn't meet their demands. This shite is getting out of hand. Just like the whole Kevin Pillar thing and him using a "homophobic slurs" that when you read some reports, they pretty much say "A near bench clearing brawl takes place after Pillar called Motte a homophobic slur" as if him using that specific term was used to say Motte was gay and that he was taking a shot at the gay community. That's just a term used as an insult. like "dick head" or "douche bag". No one is saying a person is literally a dick head or a douche bag, its just an insult.
He could have called him a "stupid fricking pussy" and the same thing would have happened. He didn't say it to offend gay people. But people are "demanding an apology". What if he isn't sorry for calling him what he did? As long as he just makes up some bullshite apology that's all that matters?
What if the Area 51 employees are not sorry for saying what they said? And demand the business writes an apology that explains the business's stance against racism, etc? I really hope Area 51 comes out with a statement "demanding" they provide details of the situation. What did the employees allegedly say? And explain that they need more information before they can determine whether or not an apology is warranted". Everyone wants an apology for any little thing. frick that. You know what? In life, there are times you are going to hear some shite that you might not like. That doesn't mean the world should revolve around it.

Also didn't get hired at Glen Oaks but that principal was super professional, took me on a walk around campus, asked me great situational questions, and was brutally honest with what to expect. He did however open with thiese questions, "You know you're white right? What have you heard about us?"
I then replied, "yes I do, and I heard Webbie went to school here."
