Are you supposed to tip when you get gas in New Jersey? Also, Do you run your own credit card, or do you hand it to them to pay for the gas?

Some people tip. Old man lived in New Jersey for awhile. I found it weird as shite that you can't legally pump your own gas.

Those gas stations with "valet" fill up near IAH piss me off. It's like a 20% premium to get your gas pumped by someone. Gtfo.

Visited there last year. Pumped my own gas no issue. FWIW, Jersey was considerably cleaner than Baton Rouge and overall the people were nicer.

Seriously? I never knew this. I knew they have people who will pump your gas for you and all and it has something to do with union work, but I didn't know it was a law. I thought it was an option or some shite.

I have no problem with so wine pumping my gas, if they are not quick getting g to my car I have gotten out and pumped my own gas with no issues.
And, when it's freezing outside it's nice not to have to get out of your car.
