Are you loyal to a gasoline brand?

Most gas stations I frequent have discounts if you sign up for a loyalty card, anywhere from $0.05 to $0.15 per gallon. Made me wonder if these are successful in attracting loyal customers.

Do you go out of your way to fill up at a particular gas station that serves a particular brand of gasoline (Shell, Exxon, Chevron, etc.)?

Or do you just choose based on proximity or price?

shite no. I'm more loyal to the ability to get in/out of the parking lot of a gas station.

Not really. It’s mostly out of convenience of where the RaceTrac is located near me. I still avoid BP though.

Cheapest one.

Same price? The one that looks less likely I'll get mugged at.

Same mug threat? Easier to pull my vehicle into.

If possible I get gas at Costco. I like not having pan handlers asking me for money while I fill up.

Depends on location, up north I’ll drive by gas stations to get to a Kwik Trip but down here they need to be directly off of the freeway.

I don't buy enough gas to be loyal to anyone. I just fill up when the light comes on.

Typically Costco, because they're clean and typically cheaper than everyone else. On the road, usually whoever has the least bums in the parking lot, so not Racetrac.

Not a particular brand, but I always go to a Top Tier brand. Like ExxonMobil, Shell, Chevron, Costco, etc.
None of that Racetrac or Discount Zone gas for me. I do it on advice of my mechanic.

I only use Shell. However, I never sign up for any kind of customer loyalty deal. I don’t want anybody to know my shopping habits.

I am loyal to whichever offers the biggest cash back on upside app. I have made a lot with it.

No. The gas is the same, only thing that differs is the additives.

Hope you aren't using the same cards all the time or are using cash then.

Bonus points if the gas station has an easy traffic light access.

I’m loyal to the discount I get at my company, other than that whichever place looks like I won’t get stabbed.

Chevron.
Great gas and I get great dividends from my stock. My Chevron cc gets me a few cents discount as well as being able to pay through my phone app.
In the seldom times that's unavailable, I go for the cleanest looking bathroom.
The nearest Buc-ees is a few hours away, unfortunately, so the brisket sandwiches can't factor in.
