High taxes on weed means you still don't get rid of the criminal element.

I don’t smoke. Legalize it. Marijuana has far more pros than cons.

If at all. The Louisiana Sheriff's Association is one of the most powerful lobbies in the State. Asset forfeiture is a cash cow for many of them. They don't even want the drugs. They want the property and the cash.

All for medical marijuana. I am open to discussion on anything beyond that.

I don't doubt that but I don't think it should be illegal for some baw to grow it in a field in Zachary. Of course, the government will continue to fleece its citizenry and we will continue to vote these idiots into office.

I don’t buy the argument that there are light medical uses. However, I really don’t see it a being any worse than having a few beers. I think it should at least be legal to grow a plant or two for personal use. I really have no issue with commercial sales for recreational use other than the eminent corruption associated with the permitting processes.

As far as I’m concerned it’s a moot point without federal legalization. My job requires random drug tests due to DOT regulations, and that’s the only reason I don’t smoke. State law can go frick itself, but I’m not losing my job for weed.

With that said, anyone who thinks it should be illegal is an imbicle.

There are high taxes on alcohol and tobacco with little criminal element that I see. Although I've always heard that cigarettes are the most often hijacked motorfreight. But I think that's mostly a NY/NJ thing, at least I don't remember ever hearing about truck hijackings in the South.

In 2019, if you are alright with alcohol, I can’t fathom why you would have any opposition to marijuana being legal.

Put it to a vote by the citizens of our state and let them decide.

I personally won't indulge since my place of employment does test. But I don't have an issue for it to be available to others.
