I pretty much have everything I want now. All the goals I set as a young man have been achieved. Now I just want to improve the things I have.

I grew up fairly poor and am content with what we have now. My wife is quite the opposite and my bills prove it.

I'm content with what I have, but I have a good-paying job and so does the wife (no pics). We aren't engulfed with consumerism and in no way want to keep up with the joneses. Save your money, you can still do all the fun stuff, but you don't need an SUV, 10+ subscriptions, and an apple watch.

The only thing I want is to try and live the rest of my life without regret.

If there's a greater weight on the human spirit than regret, I don’t know what it could be.

I think it's both for me. Content and want more

I am certainly content with the life I chose and the way I have gone about it. As for possessions, there are always things I want. Some that are obtainable , some not.

The ones that are obtainable, I make a decision how bad I want them and more forward accordingly

No person is ever contet with exactly what they have. If they say they are, they are just fooling themselves. Its human nature to want more

Pretty fricking happy with what I have.

Been saving for 40 years and now retired.

Accountant says I gotta flip the switch from saving to spending. Hard to do...

I lost everything in the flood of 2016. I’m quite content and lucky to have the things I have now that make life comfortable again.

Yep
Had an epiphany after the flood.
When you throw all of that shite out on the curb, you realize that it is just that, shite…

I'm pretty good. I could always use a few more tools or some more land, but I can make do.

At work I always want more.

In my personal life I delegate 'always wanting more' to my wife.
Exact same

My wife doesn't overspend but is always buying something, albeit, a lot of that is for the kids.

I rarely buy anything but when i do, it's usually a big ticket item.

But yea with work, I'm always trying to get the next promotion or step up however I can get it...although posting on TD could be an argument to the contrary

I'm content. Have zero desire to try and keep up with the Joneses. Couldn't care less about that dumb shite.

All I want is a good family and a house in the country on some land. I will drive a 20 year old vehicle if I have to. Don’t care for consumerism.

Yep, the Joneses are neurotic and neck deep in debt.

Not needing >> Wanting more.

I grew up a lot more spoiled than I realized and find myself wanting more than I should. Trying hard to teach my kids the value of a dollar.

DGAF about “stuff”. I only want security. I am pretty happy with less stuff as it comes with less responsibility
