The 1600 house note and 700 car note speaks for almost all of the monthly take home on a 60k salary

Cut all of those in half and eliminate the credit card debt. That’s almost exactly me.

They are married/living with another income earner. The average person doesn’t have those, those are the averages for people who do. Most people probably have no car note.
