No idea how this happened but the article states the landing aircraft attempted to avoid the individual... Really? How in the hell would the pilot of an airliner pull this off?
Last I checked any airliner doing over about 15 mph can't turn much as all.

While Southwest Airlines has never actually crashed, they have killed a passenger in a decompression incident, a car occupant in a runway overrun accident, and now a pedestrian just trying to cross the street
