Learn to approach and talk to women in public. It’s not that difficult and you’d be surprised how responsive they are if you aren’t an awkward weirdo.

Learn a few neutral ice breakers. You can tell right away if they are receptive or not. If not move on your way. No harm, no foul. You were just being nice.

Markets, coffee shops, airport bars, elevators, etc. just be outgoing and nice. You don’t have to be that good looking.

Biggest keys: dress nice/professional, be clean, good hygiene, be confident.

They are all trash. Dont pay for it

Out of curiosity why did you have a relationship with this girl for 13 years and not get married?

It's been over a decade but back in my single days both Match.com and eHarmony were fertile hunting grounds. As was Facebook. I scored multiple dates and plenty of sex from all of the aforementioned. Not sure if Match or eHarmony are even still around.

Match.com before the swipe apps came about was the peak of online dating, it’s all downhill since then. It’s absolutely unusable now.

Those sites are pure junk. A buddy (45) was on bumble and Tinder - same situation as OPs. Suggested he run an experiment using the same account on both apps: delete acct and recreate one 15 yrs older than he is and used the same pics (current ones) - 6 matches; current age: 2 matches; 15 years younger (same pic) - 30+ matches.

He used the same pics -all taken this month- all three times. Both sites the 15 years younger accounts posted incredible results.

Well dating someone for 13 years without marrying them is probably not a line you should begin with.

I have a friend who was in a 10 year relationship with 2 kids and he’s recently single. Some chick he matched with told him that was a huge red flag and he got offended.

Well dating does require spending money at times. If it’s free how good can it be?

When he initially started, his age range was 35-50 (he is 45). Only two matches max on both sites. The interesting thing is when he set his age to 15 years younger (30) using the very same pictures, he had 30+ matches on tinder and another 20+ on bumble. In this one, he told me he searched 20-50 age range. And I'd say 90% of the matches on both were in the 20-30 range.

Another interesting thing, when he set his age lower, the number of likes were far more than the matches.

I used bumble and tinder until my dick was raw after my divorce.

Used eharmony and met my wife in the 2nd match.

That was years ago at this point. We were both just tired of BS and specifically wanted someone from outside our social circle.

She came over a few dates in and never really left. Just felt...right.

I would add dont flaunt money if you have it. For example I used to always go on first dates in the beater work car

When my wife came to the house to the first time, she has no idea what to expect. It was nice.

I didn’t read this whole thread, but you have a way better chance odds wise of talking to women in public.

Move to a bigger town with whole foods and\or a Target.

It's a numbers game. Make a joke if she smiles you're in.

She will be divorced with kids or insane, prob both. Thems the breaks.

(As told to me a few years back by a co-worker)

He lives in a town with 9k people, there may be two elevators in town. And I'm sure that any women he works near one of his buddies has probably already dated. How often is someone from a place like Rockne going to run into chicks that is the metropolis of Buda?
