I just heard on the news that the flu is basically nonexistent this year. Down 98%, yes..... 98%. They were talking to doctors who said they are basically seeing zero cases of flu and common cold. Something is not right about all of this.

No idea if they’re being lumped in, but I would think that it’s nearly impossible for the flu to be down 98%.

Almost like social distancing and wearing a mask could be keeping those other two less contagious viruses in check.

Something fishy going on. Also, they’ll use these fake numbers to push for this crap to happen every year.

Me too.... but that’s what they said. I think they are telling people with the flu they have covid. Something doesn’t seem right about that.

So why are we doing those things when it doesn't work for the virus it is intended to work on?

you can bet the house on that. once our government is not working for the Chinese anymore, maybe all this will straighten itself out. But as long as our government is getting checks from China, this will never go away.

What would those numbers be without the precautions?

It's ignorant to think that less contact doesn't translate to less spread. Whether or not it is worth it is another discussion.

Probably doing something. By all data covid appears to be a lot more contagious.

Something about masks causing flu to disappear
Then something about not wearing masks is why Covid is spreading

They never know and just vomit whatever talking point suits them at that moment.

You see us where I work, we will swab you for a rapid flu, strep (if throat hurts), and Covid.

This year I have seen ONE rapid flu turn positive. And only 2 more that were sent off that were flu+ on final culture.

An infectious disease or epidemiologist would have to tell me if while one virus surges in a pandemic, does it shut down the other viruses by taking away their hosts (us). Does that virus go away for the year? The amount of people needed to fake these results through the entire health system is enormous. I just can’t see people pulling it off.
