I'd hire dudes with teardrop tattoos on the spot for their willingness to do anything to get the job done. Experience and ambition are a winning combination.

Ya because tattoos are a sign of wealth!

Cut your losses, bro. You failed.

If they are visible while wearing business attire, yes, they are frowned upon.

You own a car wash or 5 minute oil change?

I'm sure people judge me all the time. Doesn't bother me one bit.
You can tell a lot about a person by their appearance and how they act. I don't strictly judge tatted up people either. Pretty much judge everyone. It's not always a bad judgement either FWIW.

I never said people without tattoos are nerds. Not once. I said white collar people that are in a position to judge people that have tattoos and uses that against them at work or for promotions. Are generally nerds.
Not "nerds". I think the words you're looking for are "bosses about to can your trashy tatted up arse."
EDIT: Damn, it's a slow afternoon if this is all we have to internet fight about.

I judge people by their ability to string together words in a way that conveys a coherent thought. And I also judge them by if they have tattoos.
Based on these two criteria, goatman is literally fricking retarded.
It's science.

Hey goatman, just stop bro. You're starting to look trashy.
Posted on 8/24/14 at 4:33 pm to rouxgaroux
What kinda tattoos we talking about?
Posted on 8/24/14 at 4:40 pm to rouxgaroux
Maybe now.
But in 20 years when all the hiring managers/higher ups all have them. It won't be a big deal anymore

It's not a big deal as long as they're not visible.

I have a bunch of them but can all be covered. The majority of the time no one knows I have any at all. I got a bunch of them when I was in the USMC. I have never had any bad experiences from having them.
I also have a really close friend that is a doctor in BR. He has quite a few as well. No one really knows he has any cause he covers them all up at work
