I'd say attractive younger kids in their early to mid 20's are starting to get away with it a bit.

Lots of girls/women have small ankle tats or tats on their wrist that are visible but don't hinder them in decent sales jobs.

I think if you're over 30 and are in middle management or have aspirations of higher you can't really get away with it yet.

I profile the shite out of people based on their appearance, everyone does. There's not a single person walking this earth who doesn't judge people. To say that judging people shows a lack of "intelligent" is ironic in more way than one, especially coming from someone who assumes people without tattoos must be nerds.

Depends on where you live. In the south I was looked down on. Here in the Bay Area no one cares. I was asked to stop covering them up at work.

I never said people without tattoos are nerds. Not once. I said white collar people that are in a position to judge people that have tattoos and uses that against them at work or for promotions. Are generally nerds. Thanks again for proving my point about intelligence again.

Judging people by their tats is so shallow. It's much better to judge them by the kind of car they drive.

I never said I didn't judge them. I'm saying it's stupid to compare racism to judging someone by their actions. But I wouldn't expect someone with tats to understand that.

It depends on age, where you live, what the tattoo is of and how visible it is but generally yes.

Nerd seems like it's being used as a derogatory term here, that sounds an awful lot like you are judging them.

Haven't read all of this, but it depends on the kind of tatoo and where it is located, etc.

Also the perceptions can vary greatly depending on what area of the country you live in.

I interact with thousands of people a year, I have full sleeves and it is a non issue. I also would be considered a high wage earner....try to think outside of the Mason-Dixon Line. It changes the further west you go.

Again I don't have tats so once again thanks for proving my intelligence point for me. Why is it stupid to judge person for anything. Should I judge you saying your intelligence level is low because you can't read and assume things? Do you judge people that are in better shape than you or prettier than you? So it's fine to judge someone who wants a tattoo but you can't judge a guy that's done steriods for years to look good?? So what you think is right or is a bad decision? Who the hell are you Jesus??

No, that would make them more successful than you.
I partied like a fvcking rockstar for 20 years and I would not hire you with your sleeve or neck tattoo unless you were behind the scenes in a non visible position.
Dont be angry that you didnt think of the consequences before tatting up.

Not judging anyone people who are manager and higher ups in companies are generally nerds. Never said anything was wrong with being a nerd. Never said I wouldn't hire a nerd. That's you all trying to twist my words when it's you doing the judging.
