Sounds like we have a lot of irresponsible gun owners who leave their gun in the car up in here.

The only way this makes sense is if you first forgive the felonies committed by the thief to obtain the gun.

What if a criminal breaks into my house and steals a gun? Am I responsible?

What if they steal my car and run over someone?

It never ends

At what level is the criminal 100% responsible?

In the eyes of folks like Tboy, the criminal is ALWAYS a victim of their circumstance. Unless that criminal is white, of course.

The thief is 100% responsible 100% of the time and any suggestion at all in the slightest way otherwise is an abomination. frick anyone who feels otherwise.

Thievery is not punished NEARLY severely enough in this country. It should be a capitol offense.

Having a discussion with a buddy regarding the contributors to gun violence in our country. He argues that around 25% of car break-ins result in a stolen gun - and that gun owners who leave their pistols in their vehicles are partially responsible for gun violence in america. What does the OT think?

Absolutely

What? No. That’s called stealing when you take something that isn’t yours. Lots of people keep guns in their car. It’s an extension of their house.

Why would you leave one in your car? It is a useless tool in that case. I keep one on my person at all times when in public.
The POS stealing guns and breaking into cars is to blame for the violence but actually the responsibility belongs to Joe Biden.

It pisses me off to be honest. Don’t leave your money or guns in your car. Ever. No matter where you live.

I should be able to keep a whole rack of fricking guns in my unlocked car.

This topic really chaps my arse. I cannot believe that humans are allowed to make it to adulthood thinking theft is acceptable. I understand the world is full of shitty people, but this is America. We shouldn't allow shitty people to be shitty.

Anything else?

You apply this in all situations where someone else’s irresponsibility contributed in the offender’s ability to commit the act?

What about soft on crime judges and prosecutors that keep violent criminals roaming free? Is that just drama Queen bs?

To answer OP, I put 100% on the person committing the violent act, but there are often a variety of irresponsible acts by a number of people that contributed to get the offender to that point. This could include poor/absentee parenting, failures of police or other aspects of the criminal Justice system, irresponsible gun owners, etc. Gun owners should do better.

No, I'm applying it to gun violence. Nice drama queen illustration.

Its not.

Certain people always blame the victim because they're conditioned to do so.

So when a repeat offender violent felon commits gun violence and people start placing blame on soft on crime judges/prosecutors, you jump in and call those people drama queens?
