Why go all the way there this time, and not have the full process of also landing and walking?

My company does delivery software for concrete companies. We load maps into the software for delivery times and calculations. We had a customer in Perth, Australia that kept having deliveries not show in the geogrid. Turns out the plat map that gave us didn’t account for the curvature of the Earth and thus had delivery gaps in the grid.
We were discussing this as a group. One of my coworkers, a guy from Lafayette, looks around at everyone and says, “well, that’s not possible!” Everyone kind of stared at him for a second before he started laughing. It was an amazing flat Earth joke.
