Are females better at being Drs than mens?

I've been dealing with my 80yo father in and out of hospitals since June. We've seen probably 20 different Drs/residents. It's gotten to be where I'm glad to see woman Dr walk into the room rather than a man. They are more likely to hear and answer our boring questions.
Some of the males have been downright dicks and act like we are a box to check before moving onto the next patient. Not all of course, but I don't remember a single female Dr acting like that.

I don’t care if my doctor is a dick. I want him to be smart.
Guess who doesn’t get DEI special points?
Yeah. I’m going with the white male doctor unless I know the female white doctor and can positively know she is smart.
Bedside manner is not what is going to fix what is wrong.

I think “doctors” is too broad a brush to paint with, but I left my male GP for a woman, just because I found him brusque. I’m extremely low needs as far as medical treatment is concerned, and I got tired of walking out of the appointment feeling like I was being treated as an inconvenience in spite of basically needing nothing other than my acid reflux medication being renewed for another year

Women have more empathy thus making them good at long term care … men are better on the higher stress quick decision side of medicine when looking at general stats. . The biggest issue with women has nothing to do with their skill but to the overall time in the field. They work less hours, they cut down their practice size or schedules as they age and have children.

The male docs that post here are communist.

Sure, just ask Dr Jill Biden

Fckk no, men are generally better at any task.
Our range is lower but much higher but women are all mids at a task.
Edt: Honestly don't trust a woman advising me on anything. Including a room's decor or inline fashion.

Lady doctor, WTF?
By the way, no offense, but often 80 year olds don't get better.

How is Dr Peg at her job?

I prefer a woman to run things in all aspects of business. Men are too manipulated by friendships and buddy deals.
Most out of Louisiana and Denahm Springs will disagree, but the most successful leaders in history are women. Good luck living in your MAGA shithole which ranks last in any positive category.

I've had equally shitty experiences with female and male primary care doctors. Every single one of the female primary care doctors I've had left the practice to either raise their kids or do something else.

My father was a physician and often pointed out that patient perception of doctor excellence was typically associated with the bedside manner rather than the quality of care provided.
So much so that if something bad happened the person most likely to be sued for malpractice was not the person who made a mistake. It's the person who is perceived as rude. Stereotypically a surgeon with a God complex would end up sued rather than a softer personality (even if the surgeon had not made a mistake)

Thinner fingers.
Female urologist sounds good too. Until you realize the only reason she is looking at your junk is because something ain't right.
