McAllister's in general is pretty good, but that location has the worst service of any FF restaurant I've ever been too.

It was mind boggling how bad the service was the one time we went. It's like they just pressed random buttons in the computer when we ordered and gave us whatever came from that.

The first and last time I went it was like the people couldn't be bothered taking my order. When I got my food it was barely what I would call a sandwich. Just garbage tier effort and product from that location.

"Everything" is not closing down. There's a CFA, Whataburger, Finbomb, Waffle House, Fuego, Panda Xpress, Albasha, Jimmy John's, Jason's Deli, Dave's Hot Chicken and Chipotle right in that area. If all that is too low rent for you Mike Anderson's is just down the street.

Fuego?

Fuego

It's fast Tex Mex but they make their own tortillas and they have breakfast tacos all day.

Tap 65 on Government. It has new owners and slightly better food than before, but it’s DEAD in there. And it’s in a very expensive (but slightly cursed) development. Not a good combo.

Luckily most of the other relatively new places on Government seem to do brisk business.

ETA all the 27 coffee places opening at Burbank and Lee promises some great empty buildings in 2-3 years or so. It’s unreal.

Stopped in when they first reopened over there and it was depressing. They put zero effort into that new location. I was expecting business to boom for them right there but I’m afraid they would’ve been better off staying on a Chimes.

I hate to hear that, and I hate that they moved from Chimes Street. I used to go by there on gamedays with a group and get a couple of slices.

I don't know the rationale for the move. I do know that Stephen Hightower left the City Pork group and works for whoever runs the bar at the Watermark downtown, but I don't know if his leaving is in any way related to the location change

The Arby's here has to be a front for some illegal stuff. Never seen more than one car in front or in the drive through.

Arby's went the same route as Wendy's... Used to be a nice change up from the typical burger or chicken. Now it is garbage.

Also, most fast food in Baton Rouge sucks because of the workers. I was so shocked to go to a Burger King in Colorado. It was nice, clean, and the workers were polite.

Last time I went it reminded me of a dressed up Roul's burger.
Great... now I'm craving a shrimp burger.

Arby’s shouldn’t be open anywhere.

I like the roast beef, don't visit many FF places anymore, but Raisin Cains and Chick Filet should be closed for the small chicken.
