While I disagree with her reasons for telling your kids it wasn’t Santa, I agree with her 100% on telling your kids it was your work and wife’s work that bought the gifts.

How about don’t buy the expensive shite. Little kids don’t need it and can’t tell the difference

I see this side of it for sure, but don't most kids stop believing at like 7/8? Especially these days. Its not like they're truly growing up not grasping that you did the work. They are just enjoying the Santa "magic" while still really young and learning the truth later.

How about parents dont teach their child to place their self worth in the objects they obtain.
Thats literally the whole mythos of santa. "If you are good...Santa will come and give you what you asked him for"
You literally cant teach Santa in any meaningful way and disagree with the lady.
"Yes little timmy, Santa gives the most to those who have the most. After all, thats what Christmas is about."
I mean honestly think about it from the perspective of a kid, mate.

Megan, you raise your kids how you wanna raise them. Poor apparently.
I’ll raise my kids how I want to raise them. And you can mind your own business, just like I will mind my business when it comes to yours.

A kid that still believes in Santa shouldn’t be getting iPads, iPhones, and 200 dollar toys
Or parents can give their kids whatever the frick they want and it's none of your damn business

My mom always told me I wouldn’t get any gifts I didn’t believe in Santa way back when I was a kid. Of course, she was only saying that to cover her guilt for lying to me for so long.

Santa is not strolling the hood with iPhones and iPads. He knows how that shite would end.

The idea isn't wrong...
When kids go back to school and one is saying Santa bought him this cool new 200+ dollar toy and other got a 30 dollar gift.
Why should kids get to feel like shite because parents can't afford and feel as if Santa doesn't like them as much. Either be honest with your kid or teach your kid not to talk about it.

More around 11-13 when other kids start making fun of them for believing. I have tons of kids who still believe every year between 9-11.
