and just the point out, none of this is new, as most of this type of reasoning has been talked about in academia going on 50+ years now
its just now getting mainstream attention
we will see which way it goes, but I think this type of thinking will get pushed back into the deep recesses of academia, as no normal, everyday person thinks like this

Agree. The virus, in an age of social media, created fertile ground for this craziness. But it definitely is just an extension of 60s radicalism.
Have you read The Age of Entitlement? Great read and provides an excellent framework to help make sense of what's going on. Crazy it was published in Jan 2020.
