WTF? You have to get a permit to change a toilet? A ceiling fan? That’s all shite I do on a Sat afternoon. You are supposed to use a licensed electrician and get a permit? frick that.

FYI, it's illegal to park on your lawn in Metairie. It's also illegal to be blocking the sidewalk. I've gotten a ticket for the latter

If you let me know the house I’ll be happy to put in frequent complaints to the parish and I know a few others in our area that can do the same. It hurts all our houses values if this shite starts to become frequent.

David Duke’s old House district?

It’s a tough call. If you call the police about noise, and if they are violent, things could get worse.

Perhaps you and some of your neighbors should go over and talk to them, welcome them to the neighborhood, get them to agree to some schedule for fiesta in the front yard.

unless they can talk them out of cramming 20 people in a house designed for 6, I fail to see how this would help

They had a "rather large" Mexican family move across from my parents in a 2 br rental, my mother is always calling the cops on them about the music...

Back when I lived in an apartment, my neighbors were basically a dozen Mexicans. Not exaggerating they had a dozen or more guys that were doing construction near by crammed into a 2 bed room apt. BEST NEIGHBORS I EVER HAD AT THAT PLACE! They went to work quietly everyday, came home and pounded cervesa for about an hour, and were passed out and SILENT by 9:00 PM. After they moved out it was a never ending white trash parade until we finally got out.
