I was pulled over for speeding once with an expired inspection and he either didn’t notice or didn’t care. I figured he was really just looking for drunks.

It’s been 6 years since I had one. I was questioned about it once and told the officer the guy that replaced my window forgot to replace my sticker.

I got my truck new on June 28, 2016 and I have never gotten an inspection sticker. I’ve been pulled over a couple of times since then and the cops didn’t even say anything.

08/16 for my truck. Haven't gotten one on for work truck. I guess I might when I go get an oil change, but it's not a high priority

I’m guessing the bill that proposed to do away with inspection stickers in Louisiana didn’t go through? I never heard anymore about it and the session has already ended...

I've gone without a sticker for quite some time on a few trucks with no issues.

I moved to New Orleans from Baton Rouge in 2011 and my inspection sticker was from 07; got rid of my truck in 2016 and still had that same sticker on there. Got 1 ticket in 10 years which might have actually saved me money. But the constant defensive driving and unwillingness to drive certain routes was exhausting.

Moved here from Mississippi where they aren’t required.
Got my LA tag but not the inspection sticker.
Went through a road block yesterday and they didn’t even look.
