Semi-common among Atlanta residents with LA plates.

Cops here can make an issue out of having the wrong plates, but I don't think they could ever find a way to enforce the brake tag law.

I feel for the people in BR who have to get their a real inspection. I got a sticker one time with no working turn signal.

Got an Orleans parish break tag that does not look like a LA state inspection sticker. It’s been expired for a few months—not really concerned about a Nopd traffic cop passing out tickets and cops in other parishes have no idea what they’re looking at.

Orleans Parish Break tag

LA inspection sticker

I got a ticket in Dallas after about 2 years expired. The cop said I would normally give a warning for this kind of thing, but it’s been 2 years. I thought that was fair.

That's where I got mine Haha, I've been commuting since 2013, guess I've gotten pretty lucky. Got a 73mph ticket though and he wrote me up for not having a sticker.

Causeway squad are the worst, they are either flying in the left lane at 100mph with no lights, riding in the right lane going 60 causing a pileup of pansies behind them who dont want to pass a cop going under the speed limit, or they are sleeping in their car at a crossover. I've seen guys with there heads flung back in their cruisers fast asleep. I mean i guess I'm glad they are there but the roadside guys are really all I need, they can bring out the cops on the weekends to get the DUI's, leave us commuters alone.

I went 2 years before I traded my truck in.

I drove it once or twice a month at most though. Did most of my driving in a company vehicle.

My old truck had an inspection sticker that expired 9 years ago when I sold it.

Texas solved this problem by linking inspections with registrations.

No inspection, no registration.

I just noticed a coworker has a sticker from 2014 on his pickup the other day. Impressive, to say the least.
