Still using my travel alarm clock I bought 13 years ago. It's an atomic clock that is tuned for somewhere in Germany. Runs off of two AAA batteries. Been rock solid all these years.

A friend gave me a Clocky "runaway" Alarm Clock for my birthday a few years back. Love it. Use my phone alarm(s)... still love it.

Absolutely. The only time I ever oversleep is when I rely on my phone alarm. Never using an actual alarm clock

I'd probably have one but every one I've had in the past has pissed me off and gotten thrown against a wall.
Thus I use my phone like everyone does bc no matter how early it goes off it is too valuable to destroy.

I use an alarm clock.
It's not in my bed so I have to get up to turn it off, and I don't 100% trust my phone to not crap out in the middle of the night.

I absolutely do, a Verilux Rise & Shine.
It's fantastic and the wake up experience is far superior to a phone. It wakes you up gently with a slowly brightening light and soft sounds. Designed to wake you up over the course of 15min or so.
By the time you wake up, it feels natural, and you already have a soft light in the room that doesn't hurt your eyes.
My kids have one too, and they wake up happy than being jarred out of bed.
One of my best purchases over the last decade.

Weird fact. I was on a pizza delivery off Highland Rd circa 96 when I recall listening to some guy on the radio discussing the revolutionary technology called DVD, and how it was different from a CD.
On topic. I stopped using alarm clock about a year ago. I set 2 alarms on phone and they work great. Plus, the options like snooze time, increasing volume, different tones for urgency, etc are not commonly in cheap alarm clocks. Makes sense for me.

I've been using my watch alarm for the last 20 years. And I'm rarely sleeping when it goes off.

I set the one on my phone, but I'm naturally like clockwork and am awake prior to it going off every morning.

DVD's aren't obsolete. I just rented one from redbox a few days ago. Now CD's on the other hand...
