Had a plug in phone/clock radio until about two weeks ago. Finally tossed it.

I've used the same alarm clock for over 20 years now.

Yes every morning. It has multiple options and I can select my wake up time by picking one of my alarm settings. Have an early, normal, and late work alarm setting. I use my phone in a hotel or on the road.

Up until a couple of years ago, I had one of those Zen alarm clocks on my Amazon wish list. Wound up buying a Zen app for my cell phone, but it doesn't work well. Since installing the new iPhone update, my phone doesn't seem to want to charge at night while the alarm clock app is on, so I've actually been re-considering using a standalone alarm clock.

Nope. Phone only for me.

Wife actually does have an alarm clock, but she just likes the big numbers so she can see what time it is if she randomly wakes up in the middle of the night. Never uses the actual alarm function, or even the radio

The one I use now has got to be at least 20 years old. Can wake up to radio or nature sounds (I'm currently set on the forest).

I don't own an alarm clock, I set my phone if I have to wake up to be somewhere on time (think early commercial flight). I always wake up before the phone goes off, usually less than five minutes to go before it was scheduled to alert me.

I hate the concept of snooze alarms. When I wake up, I'm up, no warm-up needed.

At home I use my phone as an alarm and a clock on the night stand to tell the time with.

Outside of the house I use just my phone for both if there is no clock

Yep, I'm a piece of shite when it comes to getting out of bed in the morning so a girlfriend bought me a Clocky several years ago. It works like a fricking champ at getting you out of bed. You may want to murder everyone you see, but it is very effective.

I've literally had this fricking thing manage to make its way out of my bedroom and downstairs all while still going fricking apeshit. It's a love/hate thing.

I still use one that is about 35 years old. It is small with a red LED readout.

No. Why would I use something so simple when I can have my phone alarm kill me with a drone missile after I don't answer it's alarm.

I want one of those fancy, sunlight emulating alarm clocks. I doubt it works as well as described, but the added light might be a nicer way of waking up than my typical routine of hitting snooze 7 times.

- I got one a few weeks ago and it actually works well. I've gotten up on time every day for the first time in years. Never snooze anymore.

That was my absolute favorite! That little remote was the shite. Unfortunately now I need no clock. Body clock kicks in at 4:45 am every damn day.
