I don't like carrying a little basket, I get a cart even if I'm just getting a few items. And yet I'm not starting an anti-basket thread about it.

I don't use it either. I rarely go anywhere that has it though.

The goal is to get in and out of the store as quickly as possible. Self check outs allow for that to happen.

I only use cashiers. I like to talk to them and get their backstory while they check me out. I also force small talk with the rest of the people in line. Mostly Trump and BLM conversations...

Yup, I don't work there and the argument that it's faster is just an indictment on the store for refusing to hire enough people or good enough people to do the job. What's next...I need to show up and unload shite off the tricks when it arrives?
