KFC has changed. It used to be really good. But now it is dry and almost dusty flavored. The pieces are also very small and its almost all skin. There has got to be a balance of meat to skin.
Popeyes is great. But it totally depends on location. It doesn't take much for them to overcook or otherwise ruin food orders.
I tell you one worse than both is Bojangles. They are all over Atlanta and there chicken is horrible. I'd rather get some at Publix than go there..

KFC original recipe is a thousand times better than that over fried, dry arse jerky chicken at popeyes.

Popeyes FRIED chicken is 10x better, but when i dont want to feel like a fatass, there grilled chicken is actually really good.

Being from south LA eating at a KFC is as bad as eating at a Red Lobster I feel. I’ve only had KFC once ever and that was on a road trip to yankeeville for an LSU game where we were forced to eat there by the caravan leader

No but I rather Brothers Fried Chicken over Popeyes.... Popeyes has better sides though.

Downvoters can click until their greasy fat chicken fingers cramp up on them, but Leaders shits all over anything Popeye's puts out. There's another one that a coworker turned me on to, a place on Plank Road. I'll have to ask him what the name of it is.

When you make the decision to go to a fried chicken place, you're telling that part of your brain that is screaming "fatass" to shut the frick up and sit down. Why on God's green earth would you ruin that by eating grilled chicken? It's like eating donuts. You don't go to a Mary Lee donuts and decide to eat "baked donuts". Either go and eat the real thing, or stay home and grill some chicken and steam some veggies.
