Anyone here members of Lakepointe Church lead by Pastor Josh Howerton in Dallas, TX?

The opinon of this guy seems to be split. Half of what I've seen hate him. The other half love him.
I ask because I've listened to some YouTube shorts of his from his podcast and he seems like a genuine dude, but this video really trashes him.

I follow him on social media and listen to some podcasts...I enjoy his passage breakdown and real life application.
Be interesting to hear why people don't like him...but probably won't change my opinion due to how f'd people are these days and how much they spin comments, etc.

He is very solid and this is coming from someone who is not a big mega church person.

This guy trashes everybody including Charlie Kirk and Billy Graham. He acts like he believes he’s Jesus Christ with how he’s perfect and everybody else isn’t. I’d take whatever this guy is saying with a large grain of salt.

I said that awkwardly. It’s the YouTuber who acts like he’s perfect and finds something wrong with absolutely everybody.

i took that comment to mean that Jordan Riley, the guy in the video, thinks he himself is perfect like Jesus Christ and everyone else isn't.
he basically thinks that Jordan Riley thinks of himself as Christ-like.

Never heard of him before, but almost every pastor is a nutjob, and I assume he's no exception.
Atheism is the way to go.
Everybody is athestic toward Greek gods or Egyptian gods or Iroquois gods or whatever. Some of us just go one god further.

Billy Graham deserves to be trashed.
I'm pretty apathetic towards Charlie Kirk. Like I had barely heard of Charlie Kirk before he was killed, and I assume the same is true of most people. I think it's kind of strange how people started acting like Kirk was the most important person in US history as soon as he got killed.
