Like an accord or something?

I only drive to and from work and use my wife's car if we go anywhere else. Anything I need to haul can typically be done with wife's SUV.

Do you immediately regret it

I have to have a truck. What kind of man can get by without a truck?

I went the other way. I could never go back. On the rare occasion I have to drive my wife's car it feels like I'm going to die in an unsafe go-kart.

Yep. Had to get a car for commuting. It's bullshite. Got a 2015 Fusion though and I like the car just fine. Miss sitting up higher with the other cool kids. Tired of being blinded at night on the interstate by assholes that don't have common courtesy of turning their highs off.

I could see myself doing the same and getting an Altima or Maxima. Really like the look.

I did when I sold drugs. Just didn't feel right pulling up in a truck. Got another truck as soon as I got out of jail though.

Yes, I went from a GMC Yukon to an Acura TL. Gas prices were high, and I had a long commute, so it made sense.

Had the Acura for about 5 years, nothing major wrong with the car, I liked it, but I could not wait to get back into a truck. Been in a full size truck since and I am much happier.

My friend went from a truck to a sedan, loving his gas mileage. Lol

Ditched a gas guzzling Mountaineer back when gas was in the $4/g range and got a smaller car. It served me very well over the years, but when it was time for something new, I went back to the SUV route. I don't think I'd go back unless it was something like a Tesla.

I had a car for 2 years once and absolutely hated it. Sits too low to the ground, too small on the inside (I'm 6'3). It was easier to park and got good mileage but we live near work and kids school so mpg doesn't really matter to me.

Went from an Expedition to a Prius several years ago when gas was close to $3.00 because the savings at 30,000+ miles a year could not be ignored. I have saved probably $35k over that time. Don't miss the Expedition.

I'm doing it right now. Selling my awesome manual 4x4 DCSB Tacoma, buying the wife a 2018 XC60, then driving her 5 series.

A bit of regret, but it's been 17 years since I had a manual 5 series and I can't wait.

if you don't use your truck to do work weekly you should have to pay some sort of tax. more sedans.

Recently went from a truck to an Infiniti M35 S. Ride is much nicer, and better for road trips, also pretty quick. Got a deal on it I couldn't pass up, but plan on driving for 4-5 years and then going back to a 4 door truck. Miss sitting up higher.

Had a 2013 ram 1500 longhorn. Traded it for an audi. I miss it for some parts. My ram was more loaded than my audi actually. Since I was driving in the city more, it made it easier to drive and park, plus 30mpg vs 13-15mpg was a big factor.

I turned my truck over to my kid and bought a sedan. I hated the car, but loved 40 mpg vs. 15 mpg on my commute. I recently changed jobs and the first thing to go was that car.
