I met a girl once that had a glass eye because of a bottle rocket hit her. Body was not bad otherwise. Hell to look at her in the face though.

I remember as a kid one of my uncles had a huge bottle rocket and for some reason decided to hold it in his hand and lit it. I think he had no idea how they worked and just make a big mistake, because he, for some reason, didn't let it go when it started to flare up out of the back end and wound up with 3rd degree burns on his hand.
One other time a neighbor was lighting off M-80's and tossing them in the ditch in front of his house. The ditch had some pretty big pieces of gravel in it and when one of them blew up it sent the gravel flying and hit his kid in the face. Luckily for him it hit him in the cheek and only required stitches.

I’m in Berlin right now. The streets were like an absolute warzone last night with all the fireworks. Some of them sounded like bombs going off, definitely not things you can find in the US
