Now I don't find that type the least bit attractive, no matter how pretty they are------and this one qualifies as a tried and true nerd in my books.

I've dated a few girls that could be considered nerds. They were very well known in the physics and biology fields. Just because you put a Star Wars shirt and some fake glasses on a chick, it doesn't make them a nerd. I'd like to see a list of their published works, and what books are on their bookshelves
