We had one, for about 21 days. Returned it.

It didn't work for us. A glorified air mattress. And severely overpriced.

The mattress is returnable. But watch them ... the foundation isn't. Fortunately for us, on the back of the receipt, the sales person did not check the box indicating he had informed us about this (our initials weren't present either). Otherwise, we would have been out $4K just for that fancy foundation that would have been useless to us (it was the split, motorized one intended for their mattress).

Bought a Casper. Spent less than $800 at the time. No regrets.

Had one.

Didn’t like it. Not bouncy enough for sex (was married at the time so there wasn’t much of that anyway) and the difference between the two sides was uncomfortable. Gave it away

Thanks
I need a hard mattress due to my back, wife doesn't. Was thinking the sleep number would be a way to go.

Wife(no pics) and I have one and have loved it. Bought a queen size when we lived in a smaller house. We are thinking of upgrading to the king now that we have more room.

FYI, the Helix (another Casper-like "mattress-in-a-box" that has won several head-to-head YouTube tests with the others) allows you to customize the two sides of the bed that you order.

A guy here at work loves his.

My brother in law heard that they were shitty but bought one anyway. Loves it. Even bought one for his elderly mother and she loves it. I can't speak from personal experience though.

If I were in the market, I'd be comfortable with trying it. It sounds like the perfect option for the OP based on the need for different firmness levels.

I have been using a W plush pillow top for about 10 years. Expensive, but I love it.

We got a sleep number a year ago and all of my sciatic and even neck/shoulder problems went away. I sleep great on it. It has an app that tracks breathing rate, heart beat, movements (restlessness) and even when i get up to piss. I sleep like crap now when I go to the hunting camp or travel.

Spent 4K on ours and I slept on it less than 6 months. Like Will cover stated over glorified air mattress. Bastard is just sitting in our storage. Want to buy it?

I never realized how much the bounce of the mattress helped me out on during sex until I got my current Simmons Beauty Rest. I'm definitely burning a few more calories without the assist

Parents have one. I dont think theyd do it again. They like the split motor function, but the whole skeep number thing wasnt as great as advertised. Like others said, glorified air mattress. I know at least one ofnthem ended up at the doctor with back problems shortly after getting it.

I work with someone who pretty much echoes this.

Make sure of the return policy. They are somehow stuck with theirs and hate it.
