Go in for a cleaning this morning. I have good teeth, never had cavity. Hygienist finishes up and the dentist comes to give the go-ahead. He goes “ooooh, we need to fill that in.” He gives me a mirror, and sure enough, there’s a small chip on my front right bottom tooth. I feel with my tongue and can tell exactly where it is.

I swear this wasn’t there before. Is it possible the hygienist chipped it when she was doing that bullshite with the scraper? They were like “oh it’ll be $200 extra next time, no biggie.” Gtfo

You must have told her that you like it rough.

Stop grinding your teeth. We’ll be mooning again before you know it.

possibly. but you would've known it when it happened. i've got a chipped tooth from playing tether ball back in high school gym class. i went for the smack down and completely whiffed.

it wasn't too bad. my dentist just smoothed/rounded it out. no biggie for me.

They can get pretty rough with the scraping. But I started using those pre-made flossing/pick things. Next time the Hygienist commented that she didn't have to do much scraping at all.

The real question is, what do dental hygienists do after the age of 29?

Yes, but I didn't know it was a dental hygienist at the time. Just thought I was drunkenly fighting some woman in a bar. Rock glass right to the mouth.

Can’t say I’ve ever chipped one. Knocked plenty out though

No. A hygienist can only dislodge something that was already loose. You probably open bottles with your teeth

Tell your hygienist that, thanks to her, you now have a chip on your shoulder.
