Not anymore.
But I did for about 15-20 years after graduation.

The dream where you're walking around with a briefcase and no pants on ?
Or the Dilbert Dunker when you can't surface, and everyone's left the building ?

Yep. It’s always about some class I forgot about and it’s finals week or something haha. Haven’t been in school for years

Every couple months. Never any dreams about hooking up with college girls.

I have this dream where I hadn't been to this one class all semester and the first time I show up they are having a huge exam or something.
I'm in my 40's as well.

I have dreams about being back in college all the time. I usually can't remember my schedule or where my classes are.

They say this is common for successful people that are facing a challenge and stressing about working through it… the pajamas or naked is you feel vulnerable also… suggestions are when you wake up think about the challenges facing you in your life and put a plan down to accomplish them… you go back to school environment because it is where you had lots of emotional feelings as to completed challenges… fwiw

I used too, but now that I'm retired I occassionally dream about being back at work and in a stressful situation. The dream always ends with me thinking to myself that I need to retire and get away from all this bs and then I rouse and think, wait a sec, I am retired.

Hell, when don't I? I remember one particular dream last year or maybe in 2020, I was actively in the dream worried about digging out my schedule and figuring out where all the classes were located, catching up on assignments, exam schedule and then had that realization. "Idiot. This is obviously a dream. I haven't been in a 'school' school in decades. Wake the the frick up."
I have a fairly consistent dream environment - school/military (or both) environment, a "hurry up and wait" cluster, then either an indoor or outdoor landscape that constantly changes (yes, kind of like in Inception) so that I never seem to make any progress, or there is a parking problem or I can't find the room I'm supposed to be in, what have you.
Many times there is a tell that it is a dream, but usually I'm focused on whatever it is I'm supposed to do until it becomes pointless.

Bingo - very consistent to one of my recurring pattern dreams.

Look it up in dream interpreter website. But I can probably save you the trouble. My guess is that recurring dream indicates a current lack of solid confidence that you are properly prepared for an upcoming trial or tribulation. Of course that’s apparently the interpretation for a whole bunch of common recurring dreams. Lol I think they’re talking outta their arse and picked one of the most prevalent stresses amongst Americans……am I prepared?

I still wake up stressed out over bombing a test from a dream. Fun fact I may have bombed like one test in college

Similar to everyone else. I have a dream where I register for classes. I lose my schedule and cannot remember where a couple of my classes are. I can't drop them because I don't remember what classes they are so I know I'm going to fail them.

Holy hell, yes, I do, often. It’s sometimes high school and college. There’s anxiety in both situations. I was in college for six years figuring out what direction I wanted to go. Finally after settling on a major, I just wanted to get focused and get done. After graduating with a degree in Broadcasting, the real life struggle began. In real time I struggle to grasp the concept of real life even though I’m in a successful career now.
When I sleep at night, whether nightmarish or dream, the thought of trying to make it through college builds up tension, stress, anxiety, etc. Studying for essay exams, preparing to do obscenely long research projects and papers, sitting for long hours in class, pulling all-nighters studying; man, what a time, and I don’t miss it! Well, I should say, I only miss the part of where I wasn’t in “real life” yet, but knew it was approaching, and that was the scariest part.

Yes, then I go to sleep and remember I am fricking crazy for going back to school.
Posted on 2/6/22 at 5:07 am to BK Lounge
Yes. I didn't know how easy I had it the first go round. Dropped out and went to work. Went back and finished years later. It's a lot harder when you have to work full time.
I figured it up the other day. Not finishing on time has probably cost me well over 500k in lost wages if my career path had been similar and started earlier.

The one where it's the end of the semester and I forgot about a class.

I have these all the freaking time. I was a really good student in college which may have something to do with it. I have several versions but the main one is that the end of the semester rolls around and I either forgot or didn’t know I still had said class. And then I’m scrambling around looking for the right building and I’m late for lecture, or it’s test time and I didn’t study, something like that. I have it frequently.
