Chevron down the street from my house is $5.49, Shell is $5.19 and ARCO is $4.99. Not topping out yet, but getting close.

I don't remember if it hit $5/gallon in LA, but it was close in 2008. Our gas prices are usually among the lowest in the country. I see a few places near me now under $3 now but most are around $3.05.

That was 16 years ago. I don't remember what gas cost exactly 16 weeks ago

During the last two weeks oil has gone from $75/bbl. to $87/bbl.

Gold has gone up more than $200/ounce during the same time period.

Something is afoot.

I noticed that part too. Regular was closer to $3 while there was an 85./90. cent Different up yo 89 then .30 cent up to premium.
Usually it’s .30-40 cents between grades.
Good point

I’m shocked more aren’t taking that bait. Just drive-by downvotes.

Yep, maybe we can get trump back in office so he can shut the country down again and bring gas down below 2 bucks a gallon because no one is driving. Cool idea.

We already know how long it takes to recover from that shite now.
