Anyone Else Not A Fan Of Shopping On Amazon?

There were a few things that I don't get often, but when I do I just order them from Amazon, which has been the only thing I buy from Amazon for.. I guess the past two years..
But I don't like buying any type of electronics from there, I rather use newegg. I've mentioned this before but there have been some products I have bought from Amazon that were the same brand of the products I used, but for whatever reason it just didn't seem to have the same quality.
Someone on here said they noticed the same, others have told me I was stupid because if it is the same brand I bought somewhere else, the quality shouldn't be any different just because I got it from Amazon...

I stopped using them when their two day shipping turned into returns back to the Baton Rouge distribution center out of the fricking blue.

I really like subscribe and save for dog food, toilet paper, detergent, coffee. I only pay state taxes since I live in the country.

I shop a little on Amazon. Not much compared to others I'd say. Some people I know buy just about everything down to toilet paper on Amazon and have recurring shipments of stuff. That's just crazy to me.
As an aside, the idea of Prime day, where you buy shite just because it is on sale is dumb too. I buy things when I need them. I will never buy something just because it is a good deal. If my need for something crosses paths with that item being on sale, great. I'm also gonna shop around and find the best price. The cult of brands like Amazon and Apple etc is just odd to me.

I bought a DAC/audio amp for my headphones off Amazon that was a counterfeit piece of crap. Didn't have any issues returning it.

ebay is cheaper and has better buyer protection and no hassle returns

My type? I have no problem going to a store to buy something. There are certain things I prefer going to the store to buy anyway, just because I like to look at the exact item I am purchasing..
But when I buy something online, I have been going to that actual brand's website and if they sell on their website, buying it from them.
