amazon prime members are suckers and often your amazon purchases are coming from ebay resellers

99.99% of my Amazon orders are coming from Amazon and 90% specifically from the Amazon distribution center like 3 miles from my house.

People not understanding the difference between products sold by Amazon and those sold by ELECTRONICSXWEARHOUSE123 with a 77% customer satisfaction (through Amazon) is just mindblowing to me

The downvote is for your lame posturing.

yea, screw convenience and fast shipping!

I place an Amazon order at least once every two weeks. If there's something I know I'll need soon, I'll add it the cart on the phone app or by telling Alexa on my Echo devices. I then place the order at the end of the week.

I made an order last night full of random stuff: beach umbrellas, bathing suits, perfume, child car seat, dishwasher pods, dryer sheets, garbage bags, dog treats... Saved myself a lot of time this weekend not having to go shop.

I'd consider Amazon to be one of life's great conveniences. If something comes to mind, I tell Alexa to add it to a list, then boom, it's at my door.

I understand not shopping for items you want to inspect in-person first, but I have no qualms getting every day items delivered.

I buy occasionally on Amazon, cords and a few other things. Maybe 3-4 times a year, my wife about twice a month

I don't buy my camera stuff on Amazon. Their customer service has really slipped.

bullshite it is. All I did was share my opinion and the fact I’ve never purchased from Amazon and have no desire to do so, and that made people downvote.

It’s because you’re owned like a bitch.

As an aside, the idea of Prime day, where you buy shite just because it is on sale is dumb too. I buy things when I need them. I will never buy something just because it is a good deal.

I agree 100%. I became much more aware of this as I got older and is now to the point where even something I need, I will question myself "do I really need this?" or "is there another way I can do this without having to buy this particular item".

Exactly.

People’s brand loyalties are very laughable.

My purchases on Amazon have been steadily increasing since my new job and Wikibuy is helping a lot with this since my last coupon saved me about $55 on a robotic vacuum for my MIL.

Newegg can be even more of a mess over Amazon but Amazon has some decent perks to go along with Prime such as their original shows and the music service is pretty decent at the free level.

I was an Amazon cultist at some point, back when it really was pretty amazing (level of service). Now that Prime is huge and bloated it's not as remarkable, especially as Amazon has forced competitors to up their service and shipping times to stay in the game.

That said, Amazon is still the easiest way to make like 75% of our purchases, and usually any difference in price is negligible.

I don't think you'll find as many Amazon fanatics as a few years ago. A slight downgrade in service, expansion and the plethora of chinese made shite products they've opened themselves up to over the last decade have led to the decline, IMO. like 90% of the deals of the day are junk RFID wallets or some unknown maker phone case and whatnot.

Not really it just seems that way because I’m right about that.

The fact that someone can just have a dissenting opinion about Amazon and actually get downvoted says everything I need to know to come to that conclusion.

That’s some weird shite going on these days. It just is.

Has anyone stopped using Amazon as much and started to use pick up services?

You mean like delivery from Target or something? I haven't. I just don't really see the purpose when Amazon is such a machine.

I did try to order from Costco online for a few things, but that shite took forever. I do like Costco in store, though.

I use it all the time. Most of what I get is stuff I can't get where I live.

Yes, from time to time I do it at walmart. If there are several things I need, I can get it that day without having to go to walmart.. Because there are times when I will put off going to walmart just because I don't feel like going on there.

But another reason I don't like using Amazon a lot is because I don't like having something delivered that maybe be right by my front door for hours at a time. Never really had a problem with people stealing packages in my neighborhood, but if I do a weekly purchase that gets delivered the same day every week, you just never know when someone will catch on and then decide to take your packages...
