He knew that he spilled it.

I enjoy it but I see it from a different perspective.

I use it to make extra money. I pull mardi gras floats through the parades.

Nice side gig.

I also just enjoy the fun party atmosphere of the balls, presentations and krewe parties I get to attend. Everyone is having a good time. What's wrong with that?

Also I'm don't do NOLA I'm down in Lafourche parish and do Houma mardi gras. Way less chance of getting shot or mugged

Mardi Gras parades are far down the list of what I'd consider a good time.

When I was 22 and had a bunch of Friends in the city to do it with it was amazing. Unfortunately I can’t pass out on couches for a week straight and run on 90 proof and moon pies anymore.

I’m from Bogalusa and haven’t been to that parade in years. Is the Captain still Spiers?

I used to see this side until I started riding and going to the balls. Camping out on the route doesn’t do it for me, but riding and things like the Endymion extravaganza are a blast.

I'm not going anywhere this year for Mardi Gras (for now), but I always tend to take a short vacation somewhere Mardi Gras weekend. Done Mardi Gras a million times and it gets old as time passes, and throw in the all time high crime, car jackings and bullets, no fricking thank you to Mardi Gras.

It’s kind of like a bucket list thing that you’re supposed to keep liking over and over and over again for the rest of your life

Mardi Gras balls are a blast. As far as the parades, I enjoy the local parades here in Slidell. I have no interest in getting mixed up in the crowds for a NOLA parade.

As a local, I’d rather stick needles in my fricking eyes than go to a parade. Imagine getting excited by a bunch of strangers riding on a glorified wagon throwing Chinese plastic to you while you fight thousands of people to stand on the street.

It’s for amateur drinkers.
