I live in a town of 10K people. I live in far west portion of Kentucky where the Ohio meets the Mississippi, Tennessee and Cumberland rivers.
20 minutes from TN, 30 from Illinois, 45 from Missouri. Two hour drive to Nashville. Three hours to Memphis and St. Louis. Prime location. Second most conservative district in Kentucky.

While very nice, traffic is horrible and it, and Brentwood, are simply nice extentions of Nashville.
I moved to Brentwood in '81 and Franklin was small town. 39 years later, it is not even close to being small town.

Live just outside a small town of 5K people. Love it and been here over 40 years after growing up in New Orleans.

The town my wife lived in until her middle teens currently has a population of around 900.
