I got divorced almost 4 years ago from a 18 year marriage and have dated many women since. Had a few relationships that lasted 7-11 months. There were a few I really liked. Some that were absolutely crazy. Some that were crazy about me, but I wasn’t feeling it. Girls with trust issues from past relationships. And some that thought I was made of money and wanted everything extravagant. I guess there’s reasons why they’re single in their 30s and 40s.

I’ve blown too much time and money and have realized it’s not worth it.
Maybe one day I’ll run into ms right on accident, but until then ….dating just ain’t worth it.
**and if I ever got married again, the woman will just take me for all my money again anyhow.

Here’s to being single

Sounds like you nearly found it. I know the best are married up but there a plenty still out there.

Yeah I gave up as well. Between my job and having two sickly parents (now sadly just 1) I don't have the time or want for that drama.

Went on some dates recently, it came up in conversation I may move around for work reasons. She said it wasn't gonna work because of that, which is fine but kind of a bummer. The rest before have been basically the same as your descriptions lol

my parents passed away so I concentrated on dating, it was going pretty good but my wife stays on my arse about it so I've just about given it up, not worth the hassle

Yep…15 years ago I had a relationship end particularly badly. At that point I decided dating was just not worth all of the trouble, so I decided to just quit dealing with all of that bullshite.

I have been a lot happier since that time.

When I got back in the dating world a few years ago I took a lot of L's. Hell my now girlfriend turned me down 3 times before she finally gave in What's funny is when we started dating how many other girls would shoot me a text or instagram message. Women want what they can't have.

Ok. Why didn't one of them work out? What's wrong with you?

This is why we're all here anyway.

Was seeing a married chick for a good while. It's thoroughly messed up but gives you a lot of insight into how the female mind really works. It was like all of the good parts of dating with someone else having to deal with the bad parts.

modern dating is a plague. women live in instagram world and are completely unhinged when it comes to how an actual relationship should be. God forbid anything happen to my wife there is absolutely no way i'd ever date or get married again.

5 years for me after a 24 year marriage. I’m not interested in pursuing dating at my age (58) at all. My brother (54) is also divorced and tells me all of his dating tales, and it’s just not worth it, imo. EVERY woman who I would potentially date would have some big time baggage. I’m a person who is very content being alone, so I guess I’ll stay that way.
