Yep, during Covid when they had their stores closed.

Worked great.

It’s the only place I use bc my insurance pays most if not all of it

They pulled a bait and switch on me once when I got a quote for a windshield replacement. I set up an appointment for next day service and was quoted a price. The next morning, about an hour before the service appointment, the confirmation email gave me a price almost $200 higher than the original quote. I called and canceled, frick them. I then called the dealership where I get my car serviced and asked them who does their windshield work. Called that dude directly and he came out the same day for a fair price.

If your deductible is low, I’d recommend going with a local auto glass company. They’ll do the same thing for the same price, but your helping a small business owner

You use your insurance to cover a windshield?

You must enjoy outrageous premiums.

One glass replacement per year is included at "no cost" in my state. Zero deductible.

And just how much more than the cost of new glass have premiums increased in your state over the last 4 years?

I’ve never had windshield replacement covered with my insurance. Unless insurance is covering it you’re much better off finding a local place. Safelite is pretty high priced compared to most others.

I did it once. Came to my work and did a great job. But this last time, a local company was 40% cheaper.

I had used Safelite for years. Switched to Autoglass Now. They’re 1/2 the price & offer mobile installation.
