Anyone been on the drug metformin?

No I don't have diabetes. I only weigh 160. But he point at my gut and said I need to be on it.

I weighed in at the doctor's office fully clothed and it a was 71kg/160lb!

I've heard once you're on it, you essentially can never get off of it.

On average people online usually say they are 40 lbs lighter than they are.. So based on that you are at least 200 lbs

I thought the main purpose of it was to help lower blood sugar and regulate insulin and whatnot.

It sucks.
It could help you lose weight, but that's case by case.
It will make you avoid carbs like the plague because they will put you in a coma while on metformin.
