The extended release is much much much better. Stills gets me sometimes but not nearly as bad. Metformin has been around for a long time and has very few side effects but you will never trust a fart again.

I have been taking the extended release version, but I find that it is not doing anything for me. I went from two 850's a day to one 750. Not sure if I am getting enough.

Do you lift weights?

I know they were using it for longevity purposes not long ago amidst a massive study of it potentially being the “anti aging” drug.

Trust me. Stay away from Metformin. I’m an old guy who was prescribed it years ago and I followed the regimen faithfully until it ate up my kidneys.

Please don’t take it.
