I think it’s kind of an outdated degree. Most kids go into Animal Science these days.
My grandad had a college degree in animal husbandry. There wasn’t a veterinarian in our little town back in the 40s and 50s. He was it. A lot of the local farmers and ranchers called him when they needed help.

My uncle used to raise koi.


But he also lived out in the middle of nowhere Mississippi he built his own house on. So I don't know how lucrative it was.
