Yep, I picked up a cheeseburger last night and tipped $9 on an $11 burger to perhaps one of the hottest women I’ve ever seen. Beautiful accent too but I couldn’t tell from where, maybe the Netherlands or Belgium or somewhere. I don’t know. Hot as a firecracker though. If she has Corona, I want it from her directly.

I figure everyone needs to make about 25 bucks an hour. I usually just calculate how long it took to service me. So if I think they can get three orders per hour delivered, I will give em 8-10 bucks.

I'm trying to tip well. More than standard.
Kinda giving them the $$ I'm saving on gas from telecommuting.
Wife and I can work remote.
Salarys not changed.

These restraunt people are on reduced hours, precarious even holding job, and just really struggling.

If you are still fully employed I think you should consider these people.
A few bucks extra can mean a lot to them.

This curbside thing seems a little in between. They won't let you go inside to get the takeout but send someone to your car with it.

For pizza delivery, I tip a flat $5. But this seemed less effort. I was thinking maybe $3 but felt like they'd be insulted. I ended up leaving no tip.

I'm trying to support my favorite restaurants by "eating out" a little more. How are you guys dealing with the tip for curbside?

I’ve said it before and ill say it again. You’re a piece of shite, I always thought you were just a troll but you’re not.

You’re 100x’s worse than oweo

This. Been tipping like 30-40% these days. It's still way cheaper than what if normally spend because I'm not getting alcohol and those people are hurting.

Between my usual weekend dinner, drinks and Uber I’m still coming out way ahead on eating takeout and tipping well

I generally tip 10% for takeout. When you dine in and tip, part of that is going to the hostess, cooks, busboys etc.

So now you are penalizing them for the same work by not tipping at all.

With what's going on now, I'd tip more especially if it's a place I'm a regular at.

I typically don't. But during this time period I am tipping. I just want to be a good semaritan.

I've just been pulling up with my dick out; it's up to them to choose if they like my economic stimulus plan.

Cheap shite. These folks are already getting slammed and you can’t tip, 20% eating in is weak.

Tipping much higher than usual these days. I tipped on a curbside canned beer purchase.

This is about survival of these businesses and the survival of the livelihoods of their employees.

If you’re not tipping on take out right because “you never did before” but can afford it, you are a piece of crap.

People have been generous. Each of my girls made $120 on top of their hourly pay. Not bad. Today was our best evening and hopefully it trends upward

I’m tipping 50% on every meal I order now. They need it as bad as anyone right now.

If you’re refusing to tip then just cook for yourself you lazy piece of shite
